The TRT illuminated handrail system offers an extensive range of integrated and bespoke solutions for walkways, stairwells, overbridges and general public access areas. In collaboration with Footfall Lighting Ltd we design, develop, manufacture and supply highly efficient and ecologically sensitive lighting solutions which are fully integrated in to a variety of handrails offering a full turnkey package for any project.

Specialising in unique and patented integrated handrail luminaires, that are tailored to the customer’s photometric and operational requirements, all light engines are batch-controlled for light consistency and performance with the fully compliant stainless steel or powder coated handrails and supports completing your installation to the highest levels of mechanical and operational safety.

The bespoke nature of such systems requires extensive knowledge and manufacturing equipment and expertise to be able to satisfy both the simplest and the most challenging projects. The Footfall Lighting UK based manufacturing facility boasts the latest CNC mandrel bending, vertical milling, tube cutting and inline surface finishing – all needed to create the highest quality products. With an in-house LIA accredited photometric laboratory at TRT, we are also able to continually test and develop optics and create specific lighting solutions to meet the needs of any project.
